How can I contact customer service? You can contact us here. Customer service is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. We use translation software to respond to users in other languages. We try our best to answer questions in foreign languages. If you need to contact us in another language other than what is listed, please contact us. We do have the ability to translate other languages, but that takes a bit longer. Our general email response time is about 24 hours. If you do not receive a reply within 2 days, please assume your message was lost, and please contact us again. We do reply to all email unless it is spam. Do I need to register my screensaver? Our screensavers no longer require registration. We now request that if you have the ability, please make a donation through PayPal to fund our site operations. You can learn more here. How do I install a screensaver? After the file has downloaded, double click the program in the directory in which you saved it. After opening the file, click "Yes" to install the program and follow the directions that follow. In Windows Vista, you may have to click "Allow" in the "User Account Control" dialog that pops up before the program can be installed. How do I uninstall a screensaver? To uninstall a screensaver, go to the control panel's "Add or Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features" option, whichever exists on your operating system. Then find the screensaver you want to uninstall in the program list and select it to be uninstalled. You can also find an uninstall link on a screensaver's entry on the "Programs" list that can be accessed through the "Start" menu. Can I delete the file I downloaded after I install the screensaver? Yes. You won't need it unless you need to install the screensaver again. Do the screensavers work in all operating systems? No. Our screensavers only work in Microsoft Windows. For some screensavers, you may need a fast processor for the screensaver to play at optimal speed. How do I change my screensaver? The process is slightly different depending on the version of your operating system. To change your screensaver, right click with your mouse anywhere on the desktop. Then click on "Properties" or "Personalize" on the menu that pops up. You can also go to "Start > Settings > Control Panel" or "Start > Control Panel" and then double click "Display" or "Personalize." Next, click on the "Screensaver" tab or link. Then use the pull down menu to select a screensaver. Finally hit the "Settings" button to launch the settings panel for that screensaver. What settings do you have on your screensavers? Our animated screensavers do not have settings that you can change. Our other screensavers do. In the display panel for a screensaver with images, click the "Transition" tab. You can choose which transitions you want or simply unselect them all if you do not want any transitions. That is the only option available. To change the time until your screensaver comes on, choose that option on the "Screensaver" tab of "Display Properties." How did you make your screensavers? We used the professional edition of Power Screensaver Builder by Efiresoft. How do I install a new screensaver version if I had an older one previously installed with the same name? It's best to uninstall an old screensaver vesrion first. You should then install the new version. In our tests, installing a new version over an old version did not always work. Where did all your pictures come from? We've taken these pictures over the past decade and beyond. The pictures were taken by the owner and his family.
